Thanks for replying.  Not strangely enough It doesn't have a broken
connection.  It can be sitting on the table receiving a uhf signal and just
suddenly loses the signal and then comes back in.  That's what I don't
understand.  The way it acts makes me believe there is not broken connection
on the circuit board.  It's not that bad of a problem but it just gets
annoying after a while and it doesn't seem to want to go away.  Any other
suggestions?

Joey,
Is the signal reception affected by pressing the R2's antenna against 
something? If so, your SMA center-pin connector may have broken from 
the circuit board. Mine did (probably from a drop), and I had to re-
solder the center pin of the SMA connector to the circuit board. Not a 
hard fix.
