Re: Losing signal on uhf

Joey,
I would take a guess that something is radiating very strong RF 
energy, close enough to you, to cause your R2 to do this. Any UHF 
pagers/repeaters around your neighborhood? What about hams operating 
on 440 MHz close to you? Have you tried sitting a frequency counter 
next to your R2, to see if it registers a hit when your R2 drops out?
