Bu= t then I'm just not a practical person that way.=20=20=20 I don't have any kind of scanner yet so I was looking at the IC R2 as a pos= sible wider freq spectrum scannner. Since first posting here, I found out t= hat if I want a scanner that will pick up law enforcement agencies in my ar= ea I would probably need to go up to something like the Pro 2096; so as to = have the digital "25" something or other and trunking capabilities. Those d= arn things are expensive though.=20 I'm finding it is hard to search for scanners using their capabilities as s= earch criteria. If anyone knows other scanners besides the pro 2096, which = get digital and multi-trunking, and sell used for less than $200, that woul= d be very helpful! THANKS!
