<p>How to program a search range from 150 MHz to 175 MHz:<br><br>1. Press V/M button so that you are in VFO mode and not in Memory mode.<br>2. Rotate dial until you reach 150 MHz. Note: make sure display reads "FM" above frequency. "TSQL" should not be displayed in this example.<br>3. Press FUNC button and MW button at the same time. You are now in memory write mode. Release buttons.<br>4. While pressing FUNC, rotate dial while watching display. You should be seeing the memory banks indicated on the lower right of the display. Stop when you see that part of the display read a number followed by a letter (i.e., 0A, 1A, 2A, 3A.) That part of the display should still be flashing.<br>5. Turn dial until you stop on the Scan Edge Channel you want to program. In this ins
tance, it will be 0A.<br>6. Press FUNC and MW at the same time for one second to enter 150 MHz into that memory. Two beeps will sound, and display will enter into VFO mode. <br>7. Rotate dial until you reach 175 MHz.<br>8. Press FUNC button and MW button at the same time. You are now in memory write mode. Release buttons.<br>9. Turn dial one click clockwise. Lower right display should read 0b while flashing.<br>10. Press FUNC and MW at the same time for one second to enter 175 MHz into that memory. Two beeps will sound, and display will enter into VFO mode.<br><br>How to search that programmed scan edge of 150 MHz to 175 MHz:<br><br>1. Press V/M button so that you are in VFO mode.<br>2. Press FUNC button and BAND button at the same time. Release buttons. Display should read "PROG&qu
ot; followed by a number from 0 to 24. In this example, rotate dial if necessary so that display reads "PROG 0"<br>3. Press FUNC button and "arrow up" or "arrow down" button at the same time. You should now be searching the scan edge of 150 MHz to 175 MHz.<br><br>Note: to change the programmed scan edges while the receiver is scanning, press FUNC button and BAND button at the same time. Release buttons. Display now reads "PROG" followed by a number. Rotate dial to select another scan edge, and press FUNC button and "arrow up" or "arrow down" button at the same time to search that scan edge.
