I think all the IC R2 users that used to be on here have moved on or=
died!!
Anyway it is at least 10 years since I was doing what you are tryi=
ng to
do , so I am very rusty on it.....as I am now 74 years old. But, I h=
ave
looked in my files and found some info that might get you started. Re=
the cable you have bought , I think that will solve a lot of your
progra=
mming problems, it did for me. However I used the Butel software
for it, w=
hich you had to buy, but I see from my files that there was
also someTK2 s=
oftware that was free that worked as well. Bear in mind,
at the time I was=
doing it, the connection lead was for an RS232
connection and now you hav=
e a USB lead. Thats more up to date but I dont
know if the software will r=

I have found a sheet of instructions that I found useful=
for progamming
and I have scanned these and attached them to tis message.=
They covered
scan edge programming.
