I'm not sure what you mean by "that is not even listed anywhere".  Is the 
245 in conventional mode (i.e. non-trunking mode) and is it scanning (not 
searching)?  If it's scanning, it shouldn't stop on something that isn't 
programmed into the 245.  Whenever it stops, it should display the frequency 
it has stopped at (except in trunking mode).

I think you need to be much more specific about what is in the frequency 
banks you are scanning and which buttons you are actually pressing.
