Re: Anyone know where I can get a programming cable in Canada?

No luck so far finding a connector. What I did find out today.I took apart the scanner and soldered the wires on pins 2,3 and 5 of a db9 to the correct points on the CPU PCB. The virtual control worked fine but transfering frequencies and IDs would not.Also the backup program would not work. It looks like to do transfers you need the hand shaking lines for this to work. Oh well I definetly will need a cable. Too hard to wire to all 9 connects in the scanner.
