Re: Got the Cable! Now what?

The discussion of the remote cable for the BC245XLT prompted me to go 
digging in the "drawer of electronic stuff".  Lo and behold, I turned up 
the cable for my 10 year old BC245XLT.   Since I have always programed 
my scanners manually, I have never used the cable (No, its not for sale. 
  So while this may be simplistic for many of you, what do I do with it? 
This is a definite void in my knowledge and one I want to fill.
