Mil Air Frequency

On the last post some one was selling their 780, lots of you said it was one
of the best mil air radios.   I need to get my out and running again.   Does
any one have advice on how they programmed there's for military air.    Also
what frequency would you recommend, I am outside of Chicago.   Thanks
