At IOGEAR GUC232A they are $29.95.
I purchase the IOGEAR GUC232A from cyberguys for $21.49 (Some times on sale for less, with and without promo codes).

The device itself has an LED that flashes as data moves both ways over the interface. I find this very helpful in troubleshooting communications problems between my radios and computers.

On one computer I use six of these attached to six Uniden Scanners (796D, 296D, 250D, 246T 396t, 396XT) all running/controlled from the one computer. I also use them with my IC-746PRO Amateur radio.

I have these devices connected to both Windows XP and Windows 7 (64-bit) with no problems.

When I travel I carry one and driver CD with me and have used it to connect my 396XT to any computer I can find and use.

Use the device driver that comes with the device
