No special cable, be certain the scanner menu item indicates the scanner is in PC CONTROL and of course that the correct COM port is selected. ----- Original Message ----- From: Dave To: [email protected] Sent: Wednesday, March 16, 2005 6:02 PM Subject: [UnidenBC785D] 785D configuration Hi all, I have a new 785D with the APCO card. I'm trying to program from my PC and I have the Bearcat E-scanner plus program. The PC and the radio aren't recognizing each other. I'm using a shielded RS-232C cable from Radio Shack for the connection. Is this the right cable, or is there some "special" 232 cable required? Thanks.....
