You can also try a coaxial scanner antenna. I find it works pretty well; better than the stock telescoping antenna that comes with the 785D. C. Crane has one here: http://www.ccrane.com/coaxial-scanner-antenna.aspx Be sure to specify the BNC connector. If all else fails, try ebay.
