sound

I'm haveing a problem with the sound on my 785 i turn the volume all 
the way up can barely hear it' i tap on the bottom of the front and it 
get louder for awhile then back' it seems the trouble start useing my 
nextel close by it' not sure if transmitting nearit had any thing to 
do with it'any help sure would be welcome. thank you.
