RE: sound

Try an external speaker and see what happens.Many of the 785 units had defective speakers causing distorted audio. I had toreplace my speaker the day I received my 785. The units use a standard 4”round speaker with a square mounting frame as I recall. 


Found a good quality replacement on line for about $5 as I recall.
