Joe , Tnx for the info so i assume since I have the 27 freqs from radioreference.com it must be already programed as a splinter system. The freq read like this 0856.0500 0856.1000 0856.1500 0856.2000 0856.2500 0857.0000 I assume that must be the splinter system freqs. Can you or anyone else tell me what a splinter system is? I mean what does it do different then standard what are the benifits? I know on radioref site it says due to our close proximity to Mexico they use the splinter system Again thanks for the help Dan ----- Original Message ----- From: mch To: [email protected] Sent: 10/07/2006 7:48:37 PM Subject: Re: [UnidenBC785D] What is a Splinter system? Yes - program it as a Splinter system. How it is different is the table used for the channels. Standard goes 851.0125, 851.0375, 851.0625... Splinter goes 851.0250, 851.0500, 851.0750... Joe M.
