Well according to the THOUSANDS of complaint posts at Radio Reference, ot=
herwise now known as Uniden Central, the throngs of pissings and moanings r=
ained upon the poor Uniden rep who resides in there, "UPman", ever since th=
e two models' introductions to the public-I guess my "limited vision" is du=
e to me not finding it necessary to delve any further to seek out the few f=
ans of them.
Back to the subject of my OP, THIS scanner, the bc785d, serves me well he=
re and I simply wanted to state it:) it's still relevant here in the SFO ba=
y area. It does have the infamous front- end swampage but an FM trap cured =
that where it was worst.
I sure miss the Blue Angels coming here to SFO-I used to park their freqs=
in the MIL band here at the desk, patch a cordless phone on it and have a =
great time watching them from my rooftop. This 785d did great on MIL. Now M=
IL is a barren band here:(
Anyways, I assume you own one or both of those new BCs-nice to hear somet=
hing positive about them-especially given their pricepoint lol=20

If you have come here to find out about the 785D you have come to the right=
