Question on status of BC785D as a product

Hello all. I'm considering the purchase of a BC785D within the next couple of weeks and will purchase the APCO-25 accessory card down the road (within a year of the purchase of the scanner). It appears the scanner is still avaialable from many on-line sources, but it also appears the scanner is on it's way out as a product offering by Uniden.
