If you send me a direct email to [email protected], I can send you a scan of my invoice from my switch. You have to order a switch and a spring... I "dry fitted" mine and it looks like a good retrofit. I have not soldered it up yet.

What IS the proper part number for the PTT switch? I've never seen one, but heard the switch and spring supplied looks nothing like the standard PTT switch. Can someone post pictures of the replacement procedure?

Since the cheap Chinese imitation microphones are crap and don't work, I'd much rather buy a handful of the switches and replace them myself.

Also, thanks to Phil and Mike for the advice on replacing the PTT in my microphone. I ordered two each of the switches and springs, just in case I messed one up. Total cost to Yaesu was $5 shipped. Total time to replace the switch was 10 minutes, and now I have a non-flaky PTT on my FT-100D.
