Congratulations! There is a battery inside the radio (control head). When you check the encoder of the main dial, be ready to change the battery. Some people reported weird behaviors when the voltage of the battery drops. Good luck and 73, Wilko Sent from my Windows 10 device From: [email protected] [FT100] Sent: Thursday, August 2, 2018 12:50 To: [email protected] Subject: [FT100] Main dial reverse operation Received my Tech and General recently and just picked up a FT-100 as my first HF radio. I noticed the main dial must be turned counter clockwise to increase and clockwise decreases the frequency or menu selection. I have read the manual and searched the FAQ looking for a setting that controls this, to no avail. Anyone know how this can be corrected?
