FYI:  Barry Boothe, W9UCW, in his QEX, March/April 2014, article p18f, 
on comparing various mobile antennas, found that a mag mount for Hf adds 
serious losses.  The mag mount works fairly well for VHF/UHF.

Also, because of it's small size, the ATAS 100 is a very marginal 
antenna in the HF bands to begin with.

Not a good combination for efficient operating HF mobile.
