tnx eric, but have 4 friends looking- size of #4 machine screw, .110 inch in outside diameter- and length over 1/2 inch would do. since yaesu has no dimensions , not worth the chance been drilling apart old slide, toggle and household switches that are no longer need but all too big diameter after acquiring this radio from estate, i dont see the big draw on it, ergonomics worse that 857, 897, hears ok, dsp marginal, like on the 857/897, found by playing had an am and 500hz cw filter in it. taking along to hamfest this weekend- tnx fer all suggestions bob wb3hyb
