Hi Patricia,

Yes an ethernet cable with coupler should be fine. I’ve done that sort of thing myself it the past.

Thank you, Eric. Apparently he has run out of the version with the Mike and speaker cables. At least for now. Would I be able to just use an Ethernet cable with a coupler to extend the Mike cable?

Hi Patricia,

If you have a look, that seller has two versions of the kit available. One is the base kit which only has the mount and cable (264232871360) the other is a full kit, the same as the original YSK-100 (264232871397) , which includes microphone and speaker extension cables.

I see a German source on eBay for ft-100 separation kits. Anybody in the group have experience with these? Also, the mike connects to the main body, not the control head. If you remote-mount the body how do you get a connection back to the mike? The German source only shows the cable from the head to the main body and a bracket. Is there a source for a mike extension cable?
