Pre-Programed Frequency Search

Hi Everyone, I wonder if Bob or someone else can answer this, I know how to navigate round the radio now and set up almost all the function with and without the software, I have just come across this problem when setting up the Pe- Programed Frequency Search. If i enter a lower and upper range and set it to search in NFM as apposed to it's own default mode i cant do it unless once it starts searching in it's default mode press the CLR button then set to what ever mode i want then start searching again then it does, Can i not set up a search mode in the pre-programed frequency search and make it stay there as every time i turn of the radio then back on again i have to keep changing the mode.
