You start the Search (or Scan) by pressing the FUNC and 3 keys simultaneously. Once the Search (or Scan) has started, you can press the FUNC and 3 keys again and again to cycle through the three types of stopping. The search/scan stop type is displayed as BS, HS, or nothing.
