I would like to listen to air (I live near Republic airport and I am in the glide path for either JFK and LGA) , police, fire, hams, Coast Guard.
I live right on the border of Nassau/Suffolk.
What is PL/DPL? .

   on the I-net that an individual who had this unit could not pull
   anything in, and then he purchased an Icom R5 and had no problems. 
 
 Does anyone live in my area? Do you have reception/interference
