            Jim,

There are two ways to get NAM. The first is to use Bob Parnass's TK 500 

software, which has a NAM option built into to it. Merely check the box 

when loading your files into the radio.



The other way is via keystrokes, as documented by Perrin in Message 

#1614. Here's the text:

enable menu #33 and #34 simply do the following... ..



You enter memory 33 and 34 by pressing and holding four buttons on

switch on: 0,3,5 and 9.

Menu 34 user port is not used.



I originally used tk500 to unlock these menu options but this way is

easier!
