Ok, made directory in home folder named 'tk500.1.5'
Opened a terminal in that folder and typed 'wish gui500.tcl'
A blank white window opens, nothing else.

Second try I typed 'wish tk500.tcl'
That gave me an error message 
'tk500.tcl: error: Environment variable tk500 must
be set to the directory containing the library
files for program tk500.tcl.'

I am in need of some help here. Anyone?
