I ordered a replacement dial knob almost three weeks ago. When the
guy taking the order saw that I only needed one small item, he
suggested shipping it via mail. When I agreed, he quickly added, "we
don't guarantee delivery if you ship via mail." In the past, part
orders from Yaesu came in a timely fashion. Well, I'm still waiting
for this knob. I guess what he meant was, "we don't guarantee that
we'll ship it, either." They did not hesitate to charge my credit
card, though!

The point of me telling you this is so that you'll choose UPS
shipping instead of US mail if you need a part from Yaesu in a hurry.
