I'm using a 2-meter mobile antenna hanging from a hook on my bedroom wall with my VR-5000. I have no complaints across the spectrum but do have to use the ATT feature when tuned to local FM broadcasts. The signal is just too strong. Good HF, VHF, UHF. One antenna.
