For FTBVR5K, as per my recent post, any standard 9-pin serial NULL modem cable will work, including the old blue Laplink serial cables that have 2 connectors on each end. I first used FTBVR5K with a laplink cable because it was all I had, and it worked fine, but now I have a standard NULL modem cable.
