VR-5000 resale value

There are a few VR-5000 receivers for sale on eBay, inc this one with
Digital Signal Processing option installed:

It's interesting to see that this model receiver has held its value so well
over the last few years, an indication of how many serious SWLers & other
users are out there.  Considering that you can easily spend over $1000USD
for a fully-optioned VR-5000, or over $700 for a bare-bones VR-5000, it's
good to see that you can enjoy yours and still get a good return on the
investment when you want to upgrade.
