Re: New VR-5000 User - Memory Bank Use

If I look at my FTBVR5k  memory readout, the name I have given to that particular frequency is there, but the Banks are just numbered 0 to 7 (in my case). Now If you click on the "Banks" tab at the top left of the readout, you can name the Banks to anything you like.

OK, I've just added a few entries to a new bank in the program. First I named the new bank, it was initially number 8 - click on "Banks" at the top and then change the name. Then I went back to the main page. Right click on the last entry, select "Insert memory below" and it  copied the highlighted entry to the one below - changed this new line to the new frequency and tag (Ctrl "B" will do the same thing and quicker if you want lots of new entries). Changed the bank number to 8. Saved the changes and then wrote to the VR5K. All good.
