Hello Sherman, Michel and friends. I cannot receive signals below 1.8MHz. I suspect the problem is D2021 or BPF (L2030, L2033...). Well... how may i find it on the circuit board? I downloaded the board drawing from www.radioamateur.eu but it was blurred. Any friend may help me? Thanks, Eduardo - PY1EB. I have sent one of the to the factory twice to repair the same failure. This time while the first radio was in the factory, the second failed in exactly the same manner. What I need is for someone to fax me a partial copy of the schematic showing the location on the failed parts and what they are. The factory list shows the parts locations/s:D202s,Q2045 and associates the repair with the Main Unit. Any help will be greatly appreciated Sherman W. Ellis swe65724 ess_consultants@... Everything is 3 clicks away within this forum: "Files", "VR-5000 FCC Docs", then "schem_1.pdf "and following. Those files are the very detailed schematics that I made posted years ago by a friend. Altough we still do not have the corresponding layouts, a good electronician finds its way. Michel
