Display coming back......

Strange! Previously my LCD contrast setting has been 5 - I bumped it up to 8 yesterday afternoon but at the time there was no change. The temperature yesterday was about 27degsC, say 80F, and the radio is in a cabinet but with airsapce around it. Even so, it runs pretty warm. (but not as warm as when using the Yaesu Wal-Wart! I now use a regulated 13v supply!) Now it's been cool overnight, and the temperature is only 21C (70F) and I have regained the two lost columns. I have now bumped up the LCD contrast to 10 and I'll see what happens.:)
