RES: LCD lines

Hello
My VR5000 is also introducing LCD failure, is missing a vertical line in the
central region of the last character of the clock.
Sera that Yaesu have this lcd for sale, I see that we are not alone with
this defect, thequote is found on the internet concerning this problem.
It no longer as of old equipment.

Hi guys,

I have an older vr-5000 which has developed loss of vertical LCD lines. On
start up there are 5 lines missing and within an our it drops down to 2!
(heat issue?)

Any ideas on how to correct this?
