1. I just found out the problem that cause me cannot get data (signal strength) from YAESU VR-5000. The problem is the cable, lol.

2. But, I still don't understand about the 'LOW VOLTAGE' hang. 


3. To recover the radio, I just turn it off, then everything should be fine now.

Hello Chew,

I've never seen that, but I may try it with mine this weekend.  Sounds like a firmware bug.  If the value is out of the acceptable range, it shouldn't crash.  Which is what this sounds like.

How do you get the radio to recover?  Or have you?
