The only reports I have from people who try to use ICOM's OPC-478 cable with the Yaesu VR-120 are failure reports that they cannot write to the radio. The Yaesu VR-120 and VR-500 cloning interfaces seem more "fussy" than the ICOMs. I recommend you use the RT Systems CT-29A ( http://rtsars.com ) instead of the OPC-478.
