Due to popular demand we are running Statistics for Biosciences again this =
academic year.  =

This introductory course aims to bring participants up to speed with the re=
levant statistical techniques involved in bioinformatics today.   Dr Andrew=
 Dalby, course tutor adds, "Statistics for Biosciences is an introductory l=
evel statistics course. The course covers data analysis and presentation as=
 well as hypothesis testing and the use of non-parametric tests. The course=
 is online and provides opportunities for students to interact and discuss =
issues arising form the use and abuse of statistics. Students are introduce=
d to the R statistics package, an alternative open source programme for the=
 display and analysis of data".

Cost: =A3500 (=A3650 for participants who wish to gain accreditation by suc=
cessfully completing an assignment)
