Hi, I've got a bunch of partially completed code that I'm making available if a= nyone wants to sort through it. It includes some statistics ( some of which works, some= of which doesn't) and other features as detailed here: http://www.spottext.com/marchywka/distroform.cfm?src=3Dbiodevel If anyone has links to formulae for censored versions of various tests that= would help me finish off parts of this code ( which I plan to check against things like "R" or o= ther free packages that are likely to work) when I get around to it. In the meantime, if you work i= n this area and grep the code for "http" you may find links to various references that may be of= assistance. Note that this is a developmental webpage for testing some other stuff and = you will need an e-mail address to download the code and hotmail, yahoo, and gmail are cur= rently blocked. Please indicate any concerns if applicable. Note: Hotmail is possibly blocking my mom's entire ISP - try me on [email protected] if no reply here. Dr Andrew= Dalby, course tutor adds, "Statistics for Biosciences is an introductory l= evel statistics course. The course covers data analysis and presentation as= well as hypothesis testing and the use of non-parametric tests. The course= is online and provides opportunities for students to interact and discuss = issues arising form the use and abuse of statistics. Students are introduce= d to the R statistics package, an alternative open source programme for the= display and analysis of data". > > > > Cost: =A3500 (=A3650 for participants who wish to gain accreditation by s= uccessfully completing an assignment) > > > > For more information, please email [email protected] or visit our we= bsite: http://bioinfomsc.stats.ox.ac.uk/ > > > > > > Lisa Bligh > > Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri: 9.00 - 12.45; Weds 9.00-12.15 > > Oxford Bioinformatics Programme > > Oxford University > > Peter Medawar Building > > South Parks Road > > Oxford OX1 3SY > > Tel. + 44 1865 281334 > > Fax. + 44 1865 281278 > > http://bioinfomsc.stats.ox.ac.uk > > Friday 25th April: Online Open Day.
