I'll try to post back here when/if  I get the site cleaned up. 
This started out as a test page on which I put a bunch of stuff
( like setting up a yard sale I guess, doesn't quite get the attention to detail
of a retail oulet, LOL) that I thought may be of interest and that I don't
anticipate fully developing. Right now, there is the string processing stuff ( gene annotation ),
the molecule viewer ( glut program), and the SEC script. 

Ig I had to guess, you are lost on the SEC stuff- as explained on the doc page and links,
this is the Securities and Exchange Commission. It points to 
the ad hoc mixture of stuff on the site but it does  illustrate a problem with
web sites that offer complicated data through a web interface ONLY
with no API for machine access.

I'm just making the files available, as far as I am concerned ( to the extent that
there is no intellectual property belonging to others ) you can do whatever you
want with it. Credit would be appreciated and I think I have provided links to everyone
else's code I have downloaded.

I'll try to add documentation when I get a chance. Briefly, the molecule viewer "works"
in that I can view many pdb files, outline cavities with fictious potential curves, and use
it in realtime data display mode to view and interact with 3d data models ( the example
shows a statistical simulation as one source of such data).  However, I wouldn't trust
any results at this point. Essentially, I'm not claiming any of it does anything so I can't claim
any of it works.

See comment above- I only posted this link because the original post hit on somthing I needed. 
I specifically need formulae for non-parametric statistical tests on right-censored survival curves. 
I'm working on things like separating a mixture of points
( say drug+placebo ) using various wavelet approaches and using success/failure to 
make some guesses about a real drug effect ( if you can reliably separate them, presumably
this means that there is a real drug effect. I call this "triple blind" as you would think about
this with a double-blind clinical trial and add the computer to the list of blinded participants ).
