Hi,

I am using Rotary evaporator for almost 3 years

I used it to evaporate solvents like methanol, ethanol, Di chloromethane, 
Hydrazine, acetone, Chloroform.

The pressure which I use is 100mbar, and temperature which I use for methanol is 
30C, and for ethanol 55C for hydrazine it is 90C, 


when you start to use it please use safety trap before attaching flask to it

Try searching on Google for the term "rotary evaporator", complete with double

Hi

I am new here and new to the forum.

I am just starting on a food science adventure.

and it involves a rotary evaporator!

I am looking for any tips people might have about the usage of them.

IE: I am trying to extract flavors (profile) of anything I dare try that is food 
related.

I was wondering the basics, like what is the biling point you have tried for 
various items and what you might have tried.

I am open for your thoughts on this adventure
