(Wasp nests are usually destroyed by pouring in gasoline or kerosine at night and sealing the entrances with soil if below-ground, or with large amounts of pyrethroids if above-ground although they could also be doused with gasoline and set alight if it is safe to do so. DDT, formerly used, is banned)
