IIRC, U534 "belongs" to the millionaire who paid for it to be hauled up from the sea bottom, and was only on loan to HWC. I'm surprised that he (or more likely, his salvage company) haven't repossessed it by now. When you visited the boat at HWC you were restricted to taking no photos of it from the inside - apparently a rule insisted on by that salvage company. Cutting it into section sounds like vandalisation of the highest order.
