Between Silk and Cyanide

I recently finished reading "Between Silk and Cyanide" by Leo Marks.   A 
very compelling story.  It has the ring of authenticity - but also I  suspect 
a fair amount of artistic license.  I would be interested in  opinions as to 
if this book is a legitimate window into the stories described,  and some 
recommendations for follow-up reading on the SOE from both an  operational 
and political perspective.
