Bearing in mind your final paragraph with its 'Tiny clues...' reference I note that in my copy of 'Key Personalities at Bletchley Park 1939-45', published by GCHQ, there are two such brief entries for Eddlestone TJ and Tipler W respectively - but no entry for Stratford BS. The list itself is by no means fully comprehensive and contains proven errors. The remarks are essentially identical for each of these two gentlemen: "Probably recruited towards the end of the War. Employed in the Newmanry and JAFO Section. Declared redundant Sept 1945, appointment to terminate by mid-Nov 1945"
