The conference will focus on the principles of grammatical description and interpretation of grammatical concepts in first-language (incl. dialects and subdialects) and second-language acquisition from both a synchronic and a diachronic perspective. We welcome presentations addressing various grammatical phenomena found in Latvian and also in other languages from a general, areal, typological, cognitive, functional, and contrastive point of view.
