On Dialects.

Dear colleagues,

for Wikipedia, dialects are evil for short run, and good for long run. I'll
explain:

For the short run, resources of contributors are divided between several
dialects and so none of them has enough resources, and some of them even
don't have "critical mass" that allows them to evolve.

On the other hand, for the long run, dialects represent slightly different
views on the sensitive issues, and this means two things - first, articles
in both dialects improve their quality through convergence instead of edit
wars, and second, one who comprehends one dialect, most probably comprehends
another one too and so is able to read additional information of the same
topic.
