Serbian language (Cyrillic and Latin versions)

Wouldn't this be like having a fork of the Japanese Wikipedia between Japanese 
characters (Kana) and Latinized Japanese characters (Romaji)? It would seem 
to be a shame to divide effort in the *same* language between two character 
sets.

The Chinese Wikipedia uses both simplified Chinese and traditional. I'm not 
sure what their experience has been since that is an internal fork (meaning 
both simplified and traditional are on the same wiki).
