Since there were some extreme oddities in some of the recently 
converted wikis, I've recalculated the article counts for all wikis.

A few notes:

The article count is taken from all pages in the article namespace (not 
talk:, user:, wikipedia:, etc) that are not redirects and contain at 
least one link. This will be less than the total number of pages, but 
usually more than the number of "well-written, quality, complete 
articles" which can't be objectively calculated.

There may still be bugs in the maintenance of the article count. To 
save the trouble of counting up every page in the wiki all the time, a 
known count is kept and is updated when articles are created, deleted, 
or changed. In the past there have been bugs found and fixed where an 
update was missed; historically this causes the counter to drift away 
from what a live count would get. So, sometimes the counter gets 
corrected (as just now) and may jump up or down unexpectedly.

The "total pages in the database" figure will seem extra large for the 
new wikis because it includes the special-purpose pages used for 
customizing the user interface messages.

Some of the other figures in Special:Statistics aren't used (page view 
count) or may be inaccurate. That's gotta get fixed sometime...
