Hi,

some weeks ago I tried to contact to log4cpp developers (and Peter and Ruben)
to try to merge both versions of the library.

Alexander Perepelkin, the current maintainer of the project wasn't hostile to
accept the orocos patches of the library. He created a git repo for the
development, and I accept to try to make the merge.

I created a fork from the original project in github:

https://github.com/iocroblab/log4cpp/tree/github

and created a branch (github) with the changes done by the orocos team. I use
the master version from:

https://git.gitorious.org/orocos-toolchain/log4cpp.git

updated today.

Now in that repo there's the last version of the original log4cpp with the
orocos patches. So, please, could you review it? I think that it could be nice
if we have just one log4cpp library, well maintained used for all the
projects.

Thanks in advance,

Leo
